About Technubuntu
Technubuntu is a Ubuntu based Linux distribution. The goal of Technubuntu is to bring a distribution of Linux focused on scientific and technological research to anyone from amateur “basement” scientists to research facilities. Technubuntu comes complete with a variety of scientific software. It is also packaged with KestrelHPC Cluster software, which that allows for the set up of any size of HPC Cluster with only a few clicks. Currently Technubuntu is in development. We have released the first testing version of Technubuntu which can be found on the downloads page. This version is still buggy and we would appreciate it if bugs and requests were reported on our forum. Currently KestrelHPC is experiencing some bugs in their beta
release and as soon as those are worked out a more stable version of Technubuntu will be released. For more information about what works and what does not please refer to our Features page.
